Head Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, today confirmed that FC Ifeanyi Ubah shot stopper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, will start in goal for Nigeria against the Cameroun in the World Cup qualifier slated for Friday, 1st of September, 2017. Rohr, while fielding questions from journalist at the pre-match press parley, said that Ezenwa is a good goal keeper and capable of filling in at the post in view of the unavailability of three senior goal keepers through injury. Ezenwa, beaming with smiles, assured the nation that he will step up to the plate to do the needful to help Nigeria secure all 3 points. He pointed out that his days as understudy to Carl Ikeme and Daniel Akpeyi has prepared him for the role and he promises not to disappoint Nigerians.
